pastor kills wife over text message

A text message has made a pastor to strangulate his wife to death.
The Pastor had suspected that his wife was having affair with the police officer who sent her the text message.
He attempted covering up his deed by taking her to a mission hospital where he claimed that she had taken poison. This gave him up.
A police report linked the incident to a love message the suspect, Joel Mogaka, found in her wife’s phone.
Police said the body of the woman, Irene Nyakwara who was said to be a class teacher was lifeless by the time the suspect took her to a Mission Hospital in Kisii, Western Kenya.
Area chief, Timothy Obiero, said he received leads from the public over the story surrounding Irene’s death upon which they acted; leading to the arrested the suspect.
He said the suspect will remain in police custody until investigation is concluded and he is arraigned in court.
Irine’s body has been taken for an autopsy to confirm the cause of death.
